The project that our company has recently completed for Tauron, an energy provider, involved the implementation of CORSAC, a system for monitoring and managing recorders operating in TCP/IP networks. The monitoring system controls all essential functional elements of each recorder:
- the process of recording calls and adding them to a recording base
- the process of retrieving and archiving recordings
- the process of accessing the operational system and recording base
- system administration
- the setup of performance parameters of recording devices
- the setup of operational parameters of the recording base server
The monitor registers all events related to the operation of the phone call recording system in its own database. Such a database is used as a system operation archive.
Events can trigger alarms. The system sends e-mail notifications with a description of the existing situation. Additionally, shortened information can also by send as an SMS message. The notification history is also stored in the monitor data base.
The monitor can be accessed only by authorized users with configurable authorizations. For each system user, it is possible to define specific scenarios for work progress notifications and triggered alarms.
The May edition of the NetWorld magazine and June edition of the IT Professional magazine published the information on multiple-channel CORSAC A-IP devices. Both describe the functionality of a new type of CORSAC devices used for phone and radio call recording system.
